Who are the DIN 30710 warning markings for cars relevant for?

What does the DIN 30710 standard define? It regulates the use of vehicle warning markings in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulations (§ 35 para. 6, StVO). On the one hand, the safety marking has the task of immediate identification for other road users and excellent visibility. On the other hand, it legitimises certain special rights for specific vehicles, which are regulated in the above section of the StVO. This applies, for example, to the permission to stop at any point on the road or to drive in the opposite direction on a one-way street.

What are the requirements for warning markings according to DIN 30710?

We manufacture precisely fitted, tension-free elements for quick self-assembly in design112 quality for you. These consist of several parts with rounded corners and no contact surfaces. We manufacture for a wide range of vehicle types, which is why we are able to design customised products. Simply specify the vehicle type (make and model). We produce individual 3D surface elements that are attached in such a way that they follow the contours of the vehicle with millimetre precision. All components are absolutely secure. These warning markings in accordance with DIN 30710 can withstand many uses in wind and weather without any problems and retain their unique properties over a very long period of time.

Your advantages: Thanks to their precise fit, the delivered parts do not need to be cut or trimmed before installation or on the paintwork. Furthermore, installation on the special vehicle is no problem even for laymen. This work can be completed cleanly in a very short time.

How does self-assembly work in four steps?

We will show you how to easily assemble our warning markings in accordance with DIN 30710 for the first time.

Step 1: Prepare the surface of the vehicle

We recommend using design112 Surface Cleaner and the design112 microfibre cloth to prepare the surface. This special cleaner thoroughly cleans and degreases the surface, ensuring maximum adhesion of the individual film parts.

Step 2: Wetting the warning marking elements

The design112 professional adhesive fluid serves as a release agent for installing the warning marking and prevents the film from sticking directly to the vehicle surface. To do this, simply wet the adhesive layer of the film sufficiently with the fluid. This allows the film to be repositioned and moved easily during installation.

Step 3: Attaching the prefabricated warning marking elements

Apply the individual film parts to the vehicle according to the recommended application sequence in the installation instructions. Check the position of each part and reposition if necessary.

Step 4: Smoothing the film

To finally fix the respective film part in place, smooth the adhesive fluid from the centre to the edges using a squeegee with a felt edge. Any air bubbles should also be smoothed out with the squeegee from the centre to the edge.
